GET TO KNOW US!

We believe the Holy Spirit draws men and women to Christ and equips believers for personal growth and service to the church. The church’s role is to glorify God and serve those in need. Through biblical worship and study, service and fellowship, the mission of Edgemoor ARP Church is to develop mature Christians and help them live as God’s people in the world, and to equip them to share their Christian faith.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Visitors are warmly welcomed at Edgemoor ARP Church! Here is what you can expect when you worship with us:

  • Members typically dress in casual or dressy casual attire.
  • We start our worship service at 10:00am and finish by 11:00am in time to attend Sunday school.
  • We offer Sunday school for all ages AFTER the morning worship service, from nursery to adults.
  • A nursery staffed by trained volunteers is available for infants and toddlers during both the worship service and the Sunday school hour.
  • Children’s Church is provided for children thru grade 2. Children will go with their teachers following the Children’s message during the worship service and are picked up by their parents after the service in the educational building. They will remain on this hall for Sunday school  if that is the parents desire.
  • We sing a variety of music- from traditional hymns to “Bible Songs” Psalm singing.
  • We celebrate the Lord’s Supper quarterly. All baptized members in good standing at a Christian Church are invited to partake. We use only grape juice  in the Communion trays.
